Day 22: Synchronicity

Long and slender
Looking very elegant
Not supporting anyone or anything
Only itself
Out of place
Inside our living room
What was it doing there?
Who knows
Carefully it was placed outside
Still out of place against the shiny paint
Yet moving slowly towards the place where it would not be so obvious
It made its way home
As I watched it move
I remembered the other walking stick I had recently written about
Synchonicity sprung to mind.
