Day 23: Taking the plunge

Today was a big day for us. My husband and I made an unconditional offer on a house which we had been negotiating to purchase. We have finally taken the plunge and we are buying our first house together.
We have been looking for a property for a very long time. The housing market here is currently very over-inflated and we were convinced finding a house that suited our specific needs, which we could actually afford, was going to be a bit of a miracle. However, persistence has paid off and we have found a great place.
As reality dawns we will no doubt start wondering what the hell have we done? Yet deep inside it all feels right and we all very, very excited.
