Sitting there
On the lush green grass
Resting
Having done its job.
Back and forth
Up and down.
This bright orange bubble
Looking out of place
Yet an integral part of the scene
The blades
Lying underneath
Cutting down the grass
Keeping it neatly cropped
Week after week
Year after year
Where would be without our
Lawnmower.
