Crooked

Crooked fence which began life in a straight line

This afternoon as I was walking down Brooklyn Hill on my way back to work after a doctor’s appointment, I looked at this fence and felt it portrayed me, my life, and how I was feeling: Crooked!

We begin
As a fresh, clean page.
Straight lines are a beginning
Everything as it should be
The aspiration of what is desired.
Life intervenes …
Shifting
Moving
Adapting
Bending
Testing
Struggling to accept,
Fighting it.
Straight lines are an illusion.
Crooked is reality.
Crooked …
Is my life.

Everything is an illusion Marica. The best thing to do is find the illusion that best fits the way we feel at any given time and live it.

Whether we like it or not that is kind of what we do anyway. If we choose not to make a conscious decision on the illusion we are going to believe in, our perception on life decides for us and we live the illusion unconsciously.

    What? No postings since November?

Where the bloody hell are you?

I am here Denice but the words haven’t been flowing. You know what’s that’s like – when the heart is willing but something stops you and it just isn’t happening. Also lot’s has been happening and I never seem to have to have the time to think and write.

Rest assured I am working on getting going again 🙂
